I sometimes ask children to tell their sibling a secret or pose them in various ways, but these two needed no such direction. Having had taken their photos before, I knew to just let these two be themselves. The image above was totally spontaneous and it makes me wonder what we were discussing at the time and what secret was being shared between the two of them. It’s images like that top photo and the bottom sword image that show their love and playfulness. Luckily for me, I was able to escape the shoot without any direct sword attacks, but lots of beautiful images of this lovely family! 🙂
