A year in review – Boulder family photography

A year ago, the Fourmile Canyon wildfire in Boulder, Colorado destroyed hundreds of homes. This sweet family was one of the unfortunate families that lost their home and all of their possessions except for a few personal items that they were able to save before they evacuated. I cannot even begin to imagine what they have been through this past year or how difficult it must be to rebuild all that they have lost. The spirit of this family would never suggest that they tragically lost their home this past year. Their attitude was very refreshing to be around and it definitely made me more thankful for all the blessings in my own life. They are upbeat, hopeful, and looking towards the future. Their beautiful daughter will start college this fall at a prestigious university, they continue to rebuild their home, and I’m sure will continue to offer hope and inspiration to those that know them.
